Philip V Real 1738/58 Mo-MF AU Details (Surface Hairlines) NGC, Mexico City mint, KM75.1. Partially lustrous with scant high-point wear and mild cleaning evidence per the designation. Rather than 1738/58, probably a repunched "3" in the date since the punch used for the "5" in the Mexico City mint was of the Spanish (not Arabic) style, but an interesting variety, seldom seen so well detailed.From the Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins, Part III
