Philip V 4 Reales 1733/2 Mo-F VF35 NGC, Mexico City mint, KM94. "F" single letter assayer for this date/mintmark variety. A wholesome and premium coin for the designation with sharp details throughout, contained wear on the higher points and no distracting handling evidence. Extremely rare with only 4 examples noted by the cataloguer, this being the finest and very desirable as such. It is interesting to note that one of the aforementioned other coins - the holed ex. Gerber specimen (Spink America 12/1995, lot 170) - is in fact the plate coin in both Calico and Gilboy and hammered for $2,200 two years ago (Stacks Bowers & Ponterio 10/2014, lot 458).From the Rudman Collection of Mexican Coins, Part III
