Head of young Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress / TAPAΣ, Taras astride dolphin left, holding cantharus in extended right hand and trident cradled in left arm. Vlasto 43. SNG ANS 1401. HN Italy 992. Very rare! Exceptionally well struck and pleasing, with reddish tone in deep recesses. NGC Choice VF 5/5 - 3/5.
