MACEDONIAN KINGDOM. Alexander III the Great (336-323 BC). AR tetradrachm (30mm, 17.09 gm, 11h). Civic issue of Caria, Mylasa or Kaunos, ca. 300-280 BC. Head of Heracles right, wearing lion skin headdress / ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus enthroned left, half-draped, holding eagle in extended right hand and scepter in left, labrys (double headed axe) in field before.
