Hadrian (AD 117-138). AV aureus (20mm, 7.08 gm, 6h). Rome, AD 125-128. HADRIANVS AVGVSTVS, laureate head of Hadrian left, slight drapery on right shoulder / COS above she-wolf left, suckling twins Romulus and Remus, barred III in exergue. RIC 193g corrected (omits drapery). BMCRE 295 note, corrected (same). Calicó 1235 (S3). Very rare with left-facing bust of Hadrian, evidently the only example offered at auction in 15+ years.
