George V Florin 1914-H MS65 PCGS, Heaton mint, KM27. Truly outstanding, this conditional Gem possesses creamy, silvery-white surfaces with just the beginnings of light tone touching the rims, and fully-elevated detail across the raised motifs. Struck at the Heaton mint and asserting a relatively low mintage figure for the series, this remarkable specimen has somehow managed to escape the pitfalls of both wear and handling--other than an occasional wisp in the field, the expanses remain free of any distractions and the devices show pinpoint definition. While this issue is usually encountered in lesser grades, acquiring a truly uncirculated specimen proves to be somewhat challenging. Presently there are only eight certified examples at the Mint State level, and this present offering is tied with only two other companions in this penultimate technical quality. Visually, however, one would be hard-pressed to locate a finer looking example. An elusive rarity, nearly incomparable in all regards, and decidedly worthy of even the finest collections of Australian coinage.

Estimate: 20000-25000 USD
