Norodom I gold Medal 1902 MS64 NGC, Lecompte-119. 34mm/26.88g. Homage to the King by His Mandarins and Subjects, featuring the bare head of Norodom I and the royal palace. A very scarce issue with full-bodied luster that traverses the surfaces and just a few instances of isolated charcoal tone. The design elements are attractively-styled and boldly-rendered up to the highest points and although this medal is somewhat common when encountered in silver, it is decidedly rare when struck in gold.
