Rather choice for the designation with significant underlying luster and unusually attractive - despite some softness of strike in the centers -since free of the defects that usually plague this very elusive issue (note for example that this is one of only three dated 8 Reales of this type listed in NGC's census). Currently the single example of this challenging date certified by NGC and the second finest seen by the cataloguer (after the Burzio/Restrepo plate coin).
