Central American Republic 8 Reales 1831 CR-F AU58 NGC, San Jose mint, KM22. A well preserved coin, with scant high-point wear defining the grade, significant underlying luster and rather boldly struck for the issue with only slight weakness on the tree leaves. Mild surface wiping marks appear under scrutiny but are well within the confines of the designation. A highly attractive specimen of this very scarce and highly sought after type, currently the third finest certified example in NGC's census, very rare and most desirable in this technical designation.
