An exciting example of the type in an equally engaging technical quality, featuring the bare head of Christian VIII and impressive reverse imagery that is resolutely bold up to the highest point. The effects of mild handling are noted across the obverse, as is light porosity atop the King's bust, but the overall impression of this selection is resoundingly choice for the assigned grade. Rather common in circulated conditions, but increasingly scarce at this level and finer.
