A significant issue in its own right and exceedingly scarce in Proof, this large crown features exceptional cameo contrast across the design motifs, fields that are dramatically toned in varying shades of gray, and moments of russet tone nestled against the elements. Light handling ultimately accounts for the grade assignment, however, the overall appeal of this piece is resolute. According to the census guides, this current offering is the only example that boasts a cameo designation and is one of only four pieces certified for the series.
