THESSALY, Trikka. Circa 440-400 BC. AR Hemidrachm (17mm, 2.74 g, 12h). Thessalos, petasos and cloak tied at neck, holding band around head of forepart of bull right / TP-I-KKA-I, forepart of bridled horse right; all within incuse square. BCD Thessaly I 1351 var. (spelling of ethnic); BCD Thessaly II 768 (arrangement of ethnic); HGC 4, 311. Good VF, deeply toned.
