Issue of Ubayd Allah ibn Ziyad, governor of Iraq. BCRA (al-Basra) mint. Dated AH 61 in Pahlavi (AD 680/1). Crowned Sassanian style bust right; bismillah in Arabic; four pellets flanking lowest star-in-crescent / Fire altar flanked by attendants; star and crescent flanking flames; date to left, mint to right. SICA I 77-86; Walker, Arab-Sasanian 85-6; Album 12; ICV 11. Good VF, areas of deposit and corrosion at peripheries.
