Watch List notes:

SPAIN. 19th century. Scale and weights. Brass balance scale held in rectangular, leather-covered box with lid decorated with a central eye-like motif. Recesses in case hold brass 1 onza, ½ onza, ¼ onza, 5 duros, and 1 duros weights. A small locker with lid is now empty, but would have once held additional, smaller weights. A single clasp secures the case. Dimensions of case: 14.6 x 7.3 x 2.6cm. Some wear and damage to case, but overall well-preserved example.
