SNG ANS-219 (same dies). Laureate head of Apollo right with short ponytail bound with cord; Reverse: Lion head right with four barley corns and ethnic around. A RARE early type with distinct hairstyle. A few stress flaws on the edge. Some light very fine marks on forepart of laurel which accounts for the NGC scratches comment. Attractive medium envelope toning with glossy surfaces. A desirable example of this scarcely offered issue. NGC VF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 2/5 Scratches.
