SNG Lockett-992. Laureate head of Apollo left, tripod altar to right; Reverse: Diademed head of Artemis to right, tripod altar to left. The reverse legend refers to Artemis Soteira or Artemis the Savior. Struck on a nice round planchet allowing for good centering and full legends on both sides. Elegantly engraved dies displaying well defined fine wire like features in the hair and laurel wreath details. A fine hairline planchet crack is present as is usual for this type.
