M. Junius Brutus. Cr-433/1; S-397; Syd-906. Head of Libertas right; Reverse: L. Junius Brutus walking in procession left between two lictors, preceded by an accensus. A single mark on the reverse rim at eight o'clock appears to have been caused by a drop, but otherwise it is a wholesome piece with lovely appeal. Great luster, good centering and a fantastic piece struck before Brutus' career took an assassin's turn. NGC AU, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 3/5.
