KM-6. VERY RARE. An emergency issue after Potosi cob coinage vanished from circulation soon after independence. Struck under the governorship of Felipe Ibarra, the coinage was universally disliked. An attractive example from a tumultuous period in Argentinian history, with few surviving examples coming anywhere close to the condition seen here. Well struck with all of the design complete and clear, and a trace of deposits in the recessed areas. Premium quality at this conservatively assigned grade level, and totally problem free. NGC FINE-12.
