AUSTRIA. 100 Schilling, 1930. PCGS PL-63 Secure Holder.
Fr-520; KM-2842. PCGS has only graded half a dozen in any MINTS STATE grade with the highly coveted PROOFLIKE designation, with the example here a single point from finest graded at both PCGS and NGC. Better date with a mintage of 24,849. Struck the year the before the Austrian banks began to collapse in May of (1931), which in turn led to the Von Tripps performing on stage to earn extra income. Things would only get worse after that, but at the time this coin was struck the earlier era was still alive and well. Highly reflective prooflike fields as indicated by PCGS. For the type, exceptionally attractive. PCGS PL-63 Secure Holder.
