BRITISH WEST AFRICA. 3 Pence, 1957-H. PCGS MS-66 Secure Holder.
KM-35. One year type and the only issue to depict Queen Elizabeth II for the denomination. The single finest graded example at PCGS with one coin a single point finer at NGC. These were ordered for Nigeria in August of 1957, and by the time they arrived Nigeria had already released their own coinage. A very few were subsequently released in Sierra Leone. Well struck, lightly toned and with plenty of luster. A modern rarity that was never fully released into circulation and with full claims to its lofty assigned grade. PCGS MS-66 Secure Holder.
