Fr-2; KM-72; Sieg-31; H-30. First year of a two year issue, and with a perennially favorite design. Struck for this Danish colonial island, which would later become the U.S. Virgin Islands. A true GEM BRILLIANT UNCIRCULATED without major marks and a nearly flawless reverse effigy. Bright yellow lustrous gold and virtually no toning, they do not come much nicer than this.
