Fr-49; KM-428. Struck on the death of Gamal Abdel Nasser. Population of three with none finer at NGC. Arguably the most successful leader of Egypt during of the 20th century, Nasser was one of key figures in overthrowing King Farouk, which in-turn led to the disbursement of one of the finest coin collections ever assembled in 1954. Terrific lemon yellow lustrous surfaces and no spots, tone or fog. Considerably nicer than typically encountered for the type. NGC MS-64.
