FRANCE. Agnel d'Or, ND. Charles VI (1380-1422). PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, Unc Details Secure Holder.
Fr-290; Duplessy-372. Struck during the Hundred Years' War. Lightly cleaned. Struck from somewhat worn dies with the central devices reasonably clear but with weakness in the legends. Three pellets and a cross can be seen atop the left and right reverse quatrefoil. Warm golden color with considerable luster. A few minor flan cracks as made, which lend additional character to the piece. An attractive Agnel d'Or overall, and a desirable gold coin from the late middle ages. PCGS Genuine--Cleaning, Unc Details Secure Holder.

Estimate: $1000.00- $1200.00
