FRANCE. 1/2 Ecu, 1718-W. Lille Mint. Louis XV (1715-74). PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
KM-420.19; Gad-310(R). RARE. Child portrait type. The only example graded at PCGS. Has the initial appearance of a (mint state) coin with virtually no discernable wear and a trace of adjustment marks showing up in the neck of the portrait. Light adjustment marks seen in the reverse shield as well. Bright, nearly all white lustrous surfaces and smooth fields free of abrasions. A terrific type coin and a must have addition for those collectors specializing in French Half Ecu coinage by date or type. PCGS AU-58 Secure Holder.
