FRANCE. Certified Crowns & Minors, ca. 1833-1945. ICG AU-50 Details--Cleaned to NGC MS-64.
24 pieces in lot. A varied mix of mostly silver coins with only a couple of base metal pieces from the twentieth century. All pieces are certified by ANACS, ICG or NGC. Denominations include 1/4 Franc, 25 Centimes, Franc, 2 Franc, 5 Franc and 20 Franc with most of the smaller denominations being from the reign of Louis Philippe I and the larger denominations being from the late nineteenth to the early twentieth century. The majority have been assigned MINT STATE grades with a small handful showing light circulation and only three in Details holders. Some duplication, the largest of which are a trio of 1914-C 2 Franc (KM-845.2) and a quintet of 1873-A 5 Franc (KM-820.1). A broad enough swath of types to add appeal for strengthening a collection of French coinage and enough high grades to open the possibility for upgrading. Close inspection will yield results. Retail value of about $1,700. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. ICG AU-50 Details--Cleaned to NGC MS-64.

Estimate: $700.00- $1000.00
