GERMANY. Certified Mixed Crowns & Minors, 1773-1984. NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG AU-50 to MS-67.
68 pieces in lot. Comprehensive assemblage of mixed German coinage covering three centuries, all certified by the major grading services, with many in older conservatively graded holders and just a few in Details grades. The depth and breadth is astonishing, with many German States coins in super high grades from the mid nineteenth century, and continuing with Empire coins in equally high quality. German States include Bavaria (5), Baden-Durlach, Bremen (3), Frankfurt, Hamburg, Lippe-Detmold, Schleswig-Holstein, Prussia (6) and Wurttemburg (2). Empire issues include half a dozen Mark coins grading as high as MS-66 (1874-D) along with about ten other minors, plus several dozen Weimar and Third Reich issues. Better types include lightly circulated Weimar crown size coins represented by Zeppelin, Hindenburg and Oak Tree issues, along with Goethe and Schiller small silver commemoratives. East German and post-war West German issues are represented as well, again with a number of high grade pieces. In its entirety, the majority of the coins are solid mid to high grade uncirculated, and includes a few proofs, with a scattering of Almost Uncirculated coins rounding out the lot. A must see group lot for those collectors specializing in Germanic coinage; you will not be disappointed. Approximate retail value of $3,100. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. NGC, PCGS, ANACS, ICG AU-50 to MS-67.

Estimate: $1400.00- $1800.00
