GERMANY. Crowns & Minors, ca. 16th-19th Century. VERY FINE to ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
21 pieces in lot. Silver coinage with the many being Talers from various states. The coins of note include an attractive 1861 Frankfurt 2 Taler with soft pearly luster, an 1841 Frankfurt 2 Taler (3 1/2 Gulden) and a short date run of Saxony Albertine Line Talers (Dav-7566) from 1605-08. A bit of light cleaning can be seen on a few pieces and some have a heavy contact mark or two but most are handsome examples with only below average circulation. Closer inspection by someone with an interest in the fields will yield rewards. Retail value of about $2,000. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY FINE to ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
