GREAT BRITAIN. Crown, 1551. Edward Vl (1547-53). NGC VF-25.
S-2478; Dav-8245. A single year issue with the king riding upon a horse with barding. One of the earliest dated British coin types. An appealing example with heavy tone and a smooth sheen that is free of stains or other discolorations. Well made, near perfectly round and with fully readable legends. An always in demand large silver crown, and substantially nicer than what is typically encountered for the type. NGC VF-25.
Estimate: $1000.00- $1500.00
