GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, 1918-KN. King's Norton Mint. NGC MS-65 RB.
S-4053; KM-810; Freeman-184. Population of one with none finer at NGC and PCGS combined. A single look at the coin leaves little doubt about the finest known status of the piece. An extraordinary strike has produced a portrait with vastly more detail than typically seen in Penny coinage from the era. All of the hair and facial detail are present and accounted for, and are totally free of abrasions or marks. The deep cinnamon coloration adds depth and gravity to the coin's obverse, while the reverse displays slightly lighter though equally even toning. For specialists in this series, the piece offered here is an opportunity not to be missed. The addition of this coin will without question pole vault the collection it enters to an all new level of sophistication. NGC MS-65 RB.

Estimate: $1500.00- $2000.00
