S-7409; KM-3. With I. D. and 1/2 denomination between legs. Population of one with a single coin finer (MS-65) at NGC. Smooth fields provide ample evidence of the PROOF attribution. A curious issue with an obverse design depicting a swaddled baby within the grip of an eagle's talons. An exceptionally well preserved example of this SCARCE issue with even brown patination and with a glossy finish. NGC PROOF-63 BN.
