ITALY. Mixed Certified Minor Coinage, ca. 1863-1951. ICG EF-40 to NGC MS-64.
31 pieces in lot. Comprehensive assortment of mostly early 20th century Italian coinage, with single earlier coins from Tuscany and the Papal States. Plenty of high grade material with many in the ALMOST UNCIRCULATED to MINT STATE range, plus a few choice examples such as a 1903-R 25 Centesimi in MS-63. Lira issues include coins dated 1910, 1917, 1943 XXI, & 1950, with 2 Lire coins dated 1908, 1916, 1924, 1949 & 1950. 5 Lire dates include 1926, 1928, and 1950, plus 10 Lire coins from 1927 and 1951 with the balance comprised of smaller issues, including a number of high grade coppers. A few details graded coins, but predominantly desirable straight graded problem free material. A significant opportunity to add multiple Italian types from the Rome mint.
