MEXICO. 8 Escudos, 1747-MF. Philip V (1700-46). PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder.
Fr-8; KM-148; Cal-Type-28#144. RARE and the only example seen at PCGS of the date. Struck posthumously a year after Philip V's death and before new dies for Ferdinand VI could be adopted. Orange and green tinged toning over smooth nearly mark free surfaces. Along with a terrific strike that brings out all of the design, a piece with little room for improvement at the assigned grade level. A date missing from all but the most advanced collections, the piece offered here is a great opportunity to add this infinitely desirable coin to the collection. PCGS MS-61 Secure Holder.

Estimate: $10000.00- $12000.00
