MEXICO. War of Independence. Zacatecas. 8 Reales, 1811 LVO. FERDIN VI ERROR. FINE.
KM-190; Cal-Type-189#675b. VERY RARE. Blundered legend with incorrect ruler's ordinal, and missing from nearly all collections from the War of Independence. Well made for the type with original surfaces that have never seen efforts to improve. Clear legends lacking doubling and with decent centering; an example that is instantly identifiable for this VERY RARE issue. Moderately toned with even almond color, and with wear that is confined primarily to the central areas of coin on both sides. An extraordinary opportunity to add a piece of numismatic history of legendary proportions. The winning bidder is sure to count the coin among the most prized in his collection. FINE.

Estimate: $2000.00- $3000.00
