MEXICO. Empire of Maximilian. Peso, 1867-Mo. NGC MS-63.
KM-388.1. Population of two, with only two finer at NGC. An issue that is reasonably available in the circulated grades, at this level the coin is nearly impossible to find. Easily one of the finest extant with bright white lustrous surfaces surrounded by a narrow band of colorful tone at the peripheries. A coin with much eye appeal and one that is sure to add depth to any comprehensive collection of Maximilian coinage. NGC MS-63.
