ROMANIA. Crowns, Minors & Medals, ca. 1867-1978. GOOD to UNCIRCULATED.
Large accumulation of over 200 coins and 10 medals, concentrated primarily around the mid to late 19th century extending into the early 20th century, with just a few communist era pieces. All are housed within two by two envelopes, with some of the coins displaying magnificent toning consistent with this storage environment. Many different types and denominations are represented, the depth and breadth seen here can not be overstated. Includes silver though most of the material is base metal. Some pieces have problems such as Verdigris, environmental damage, corrosion and/or other issues. Overall a fairly decent quality lot grading VERY FINE or better. Approximate retail value of $3,800. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. GOOD to UNCIRCULATED.
