RUSSIA. Moldavia & Wallachia. Pattern 3 Dengi (Para), 1771. Catherine II (the Great) (1762-96). NGC VF-25 BN.
KM-Pn4; Bit-1253; Brekke-148#8. RARE. Wide date. A pattern issue of what would later become the production design for this Russian occupation issued coinage. Moderately dark brown patination with minimal variance to the coloration. Minor planchet imperfections consistent with the rugged conditions under which this coinage was produced. Museum curator fountain pen ink can be seen along the denomination. NGC VF-25 BN.
