RUSSIA. Caucasia. Armavir. 3 Ruble, 1918. PCGS MS-64 RB Secure Holder.
KM-2.1; Bit-7(R1); Brekke-5(RARE). Three stars and monogram below Kerensky (provisional government) eagle tail. The only piece graded at PCGS for the type, and tied with one other at NGC for finest graded. From the last strong hold of the White Russians before being conquered by the Bolsheviks, thus the last coinage of Imperial Russia. Struck from salvaged roofing, plumbing and other sources of scrap in January of 1918. Fresh original look with remaining red showing through, and crisp well struck devices. Historically significant and in magnificent condition, a combination sure to attract considerable interest at auction. PCGS MS-64 RB Secure Holder.
