SOUTHERN RHODESIA. Large (76) Piece Collection of Certified Crowns & Minors, ca. 1932-53. NGC AU Details--Excessive Surface Hairlines to NGC MS-66.
76 pieces in lot. A cornucopia of NGC and ICG certified and graded Southern Rhodesia coinage. An extensive assemblage that represents years of collecting to produce such an in depth offering, and with only minor duplication. Just a few of the highlights include a stunning 1951 3 Pence and an impressive 1951 2 Shilling, both in NGC MS-66 holders and both with glistening luster. A single 1947 3 Pence is misattributed as a 6 Pence (mentioned for accuracy), and a few other pieces show hairlines, but overall a wholesome grouping with the vast majority in solid ALMOST UNCIRCULATED to MINT STATE grades. With nearly every type and denomination from the era represented, this veritable hoard should prove to be an irresistible lot to specialists in Southern Rhodesian coinage.
