60.5 mm. Wiecek-122; Hildebrand-Pg.266#19. Compelling high relief portrait of the queen; Reverse: Christ enthroned atop cloud, surrounded by ornate border of angles supporting the three Swedish coat of arms. Among medalists, Dadler was considered the superstar of his day, with the attribution of this medal to his work being significant. Wonderfully preserved with the nose of the portrait remaining fully intact. Very close to as struck in spite of the nearly four centuries of age, with light toning and plenty of residual luster. NGC MS-63.
