SWEDEN. 4 Daler Plate Money, 1728. Fredrik I (1720-51). EXTREMELY FINE.
9 x 9.5 in. KM-PM74; AAH-191; cf.BT-A9. (Tingstrom: 113 examples known including 15 pieces from the Nicobar). An interesting minor variety with no colon between "SILF" and "MYNT". Incredibly well preserved with very sharp and fresh stamps and no distracting areas of slide friction or handling marks. Center stamp is completely fill down to the last outer denticle. The corner stamps are all nearly to completely full, all with full dates, one with some slight weakness to one edge of the crown and one which is ever so slightly off of the plate. Dusty ocher patina with some areas of ruddy red. A very nice specimen which will elevate any collection. EXTREMELY FINE.
