MIXED LOTS. European Bronze & Silver Medals, ca. 1596-1961. VERY FINE to ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
9 pieces in lot. Mixed assortment of mostly bronze medals, all with European origins. The largest being an 1897 Brussels Exposition medal at 70 mm. Other notable medals include a Wellington Battle of Waterloo, a 1596 Elizabeth I medal for the Alliance of France, England and United Provinces (MI 161/144), Congress of Allies medal by Georg Hautsch (MI 17/183), Denmark Christian VII (Eimer-721), British John Freind (Eimer-515), Geneva Calvin 200th Anniversary (Schnell-479), and several others. Choice well preserved material with nice rims and attractive patina. Approximate retail value of $1,500. Inspection advised. SOLD AS IS/NO RETURNS. VERY FINE to ALMOST UNCIRCULATED.
