This absolutely stunning note from British West Africa features bold blue inks making up the border, with an orange and yellow gradient undertone highlighting the water and Palm Trees to give the note a sunset effect. The watermark is an Elephant. On the back of the note, it features two natives engaged in conversation, with a third is in the background doing some lawn work. An ornate border decorates both the front and back of the design. This note is scarcely available in this condition and is sure to be a stand out in any respectable collection. PCGS Gem New 66 PPQ.
