Union Bank of Canada's 1886 $20 Face Proof from Quebec City, Quebec. This note received a PMG grade of 64 Choice Uncirculated. It bears a very ornate design that features multiple motifs. The center image features two men walking a black and a white horse through what appears to be the Canadian wilderness. A landscape image of Quebec is feature on the right, with a woman leaning on a chair at left. Guilloche Counters at top right and left featuring 20's in the center to signify the notes value. Alternating "20" and "XX" in the ornate border that decorates the face's margins. This is the only example of this note to be graded by PMG, and is certainly a note that is worthy of being added to any serious Canadian Bank Note collector's collection.
