Paeonina Hoard-291. Laureate head of Apollo right; Reverse: Mounted warrior right with horse rearing to trample fallen enemy. Of fine style with nicely rendered visage of Apollo and high relief horseman. Lightly toned with orange hues in protected areas. A small edge cut at two o'clock which is fortunately placed beyond any of the design elements and does not detract from the overall appearance. NGC Ch EF, Strike: 5/5 Surface: 4/5 Edge Cut.
