69.25 X 60.11 mm; 105.54 gms. By G. Devreese. At left a woman sitting under oak tree giving water to a sickly child, at right a group of children play and wend back towards Dunkelberg castle, title of piece and inscription in small exergue; Reverse: Soldier sitting in front of cottage at left embracing his children with road winding away to right, "EPREUVE D'AUTEUR" stamped in lower right. "FONSON & Cle" stamped on lower edge. Nice soft toning throughout giving a lovely appearance, and with no surface injury sufficient to reveal the underlying metal. EXTREMELY FINE.
