COLOMBIA. 1/4 Decimo, 1864. Bogota. NGC MS-61.
Restrepo-246.3; KM-143.1. Population of two with none finer at NGC and PCGS combined. Far nicer than the label might suggest, the coin throws off unimpeded white beams of luster from the centers. Crisp well defined devices, all of the pomegranate seeds are fully outlined, and the date and mint name are razor sharp. A touch of strike weakness through the denticles as typically seen with the issue, but which hardly seems sufficient to affect the grade. Without question conditionally rare at this level; the chances of locating a nicer example are almost nil. NGC MS-61.
