KM-798.3; Gad-253. Population of three with a single coin finer (MS-66) at NGC and PCGS combined. Lowest mintage date from this mint. Struck the year Société Générale was founded, a present day banking empire which originally helped finance much of Napoleon III's ambitious building plans in Paris. Mostly red obverse with an attractive brown portrait standing in contrast. Slightly more variegated toning on the reverse. NGC MS-64 RB.
