GREAT BRITAIN. Penny, ND (1083-86). Shaftesbury Mint (?). William I (1066-87). NGC EF-40.
S-1257; N-848. Moneyer Osmund. Struck with a small area of weakness in the right field which translates to the reverse field and some of the legend. The moneyer name is quite clear but the mint name is a bit difficult to discern. Nevertheless Osmund is not an often seen moneyer and this is a fine example with old envelope toning and a clear portrait. NGC EF-40.
Estimate: $300.00- $400.00
