GREAT BRITAIN. Shilling, 1555. Philip & Mary (1554-58). VERY FINE.
S-2501; N-1968. Issue with English titles only in legend and date above busts. Soft central strike but very bold and clear legends. Attractive lilac gray toning which is complimented by golden orange and cobalt blue hues amongst the legends. This coin has a small lamination at about 11 o'clock which is still solidly intact but nevertheless caused PCGS to decline to place it in a holder. A pleasant example of this scarce issue. VERY FINE.
