GREAT BRITAIN. 1/2 Penny, 1673. Charles II (1660-85). PCGS MS-62 BN Secure Holder.
S-3393; KM-437. One of only thirteen examples to be given mint state grades. A very nice example with glossy chocolate brown surfaces with a few hints of original orange peel luster peeking from the corners of the outer lettering. With no detracting marks of handling and nice straight rims. Some faint die clashing over shoulder and behind neck, probably a by product of the early mechanization process taking hold in British coinage. PCGS MS-62 BN Secure Holder.
